How to play BlackJack

BlackJack is played with a standard deck of cards, and basically the player who gets closest to the number 21 without going over (bust) wins.

The dealer gives each player two cards to start with. The player can then look at the cards and see how close he/she is to 21 by adding the value of the cards together. Face cards are worth 10, and an Ace is worth either 11 or 1, whichever you choose.

What is BlackJack?

BlackJack can be declared when the first two cards you are dealt are worth 21. So, if you are dealt a Jack and an Ace, you have 21 - BlackJack. If this happens right off the deal, you normally receive a bonus as well.

There are other rules with BlackJack, such as when you have two cards of the same value you can 'split' and play two hand at the same time.
